Weekly Focused Assemblies

In this week’s assembly, we focused on understanding our value for this half term which is – We value building relationships.
During the assembly we discussed who we build relationships with in school.
We talked about the importance of effective communication being at the heart of all positive relationships. We talked specifically about:
- Good listening
- Body language
- Giving appropriate feedback
We emphasised - Effective communication is the most important social skill you can develop. It allows you to negotiate, persuade and influence opinions.
We complimented the assembly with the 'You got a friend' by James Taylor.
